July Release Notes: Making Substance Testing Friendly
Release Notes highlight recent product improvements we’ve made so you can easily stay up to date on what’s new.
Featured Update
Friendly Substance Test Reminders
We’re excited to announce a total revamp to our substance testing notifications and reminders!
Substance testing can be emotionally charged for our members; there is a stigma associated with testing, and it can be stressful and confronting to receive a random test notification.
After receiving some feedback from members that our test reminders were not encouraging, were easy to ignore, seemed robotic, and contained too much private info, we made some major changes.
Firstly, testing reminders are more private - they no longer contain any reference to substance or drug testing. If a notification appears on the member’s phone’s lock screen, there is no longer any indication what the test is for.
Secondly, testing reminders now have some personality! We introduced some positive and motivational language that makes it seem like the app itself is cheering people on. There are over 50 positive rotating messages and emojis we will be using to accomplish this, so the messages don’t get repetitive and boring.
Lastly, we’ve added a few additional reminders. Some members were simply missing tests because they didn’t see the notifications before the test was due. The extra reminders should help with this problem.
What’s New
New Member List View - Introducing a brand new member list view for providers! It is super speedy, allows providers to choose between “My Members” vs. “All Members,” and includes brand new useful stats.
More Control over Appointment Permissions - Providers now have access to change a member’s ability to add, edit, and cancel appointments in their app. This can be helpful in cases where the provider wants to control the member’s appointment schedule more closely.
Changes to Appointment Rewards - We’ve greatly simplified the way appointments are rewarded! There is no more distinction between how different types of appointments are rewarded. We’ve also added a cap on the amount of rewards that can be earned from appointments, and introduced a new “appointment/call goal” setting that allows the provider to determine how much money each appointment should be worth.

Expanded Remote Recovery Meeting Schedule
By popular demand, we have expanded our remote recovery meeting schedule to include a Women’s Group on Thursday nights!
Here’s a description of the new Women’s Group: “We often spend much time discussing the problem - here we discuss the solutions while walking this journey together. As women who are seeking to live life in a different way, we have an immense amount of power when we come together to guide, inform, support and uplift one another.”
